Body Rock

I have been trying to find a workout that is easy to do anywhere but still very hard at the same time. Of course, I found this on Pinterest because it's awesome and has everything you'll ever need.

The website is called BodyRock.tv and the host is Lisa. Lisa is from the UK so listening to her talk is always fun, and she has one of the best bodies EVER…her boobs are big and fake though…but if I looked like her I would probably just walk around naked everywhere. Also, when you get on the site it looks kind of scandalous because they really do their best to make Lisa look sexy and desirable. But, she is very nice and doesn't act all "hey i'm awesome" like the annoying P90X guy.

Every one of the workouts she demonstrates is 4 different exercises, 3 times through, (total of 12 rounds) with 50 seconds on and 10 seconds rest for every round (total of 12 minutes). So the workouts are very short, to the point, but I'm dying by the end. I think if you did any exercise for 50 seconds with only 10 seconds of rest in between you would be tired no matter what, but her exercises aren't basic. You are going from arms, to legs, to abs all in one round, not just doing one basic move. It's very aerobic with constant movement of the whole body for the most part (lots of burpees).

Here is the workout i'll be doing today

And this is what I did yesterday

I hope you try it! Trust me when I say that you'll be very tired. She has TONS of other videos on the website and also has 30 day challenges you can follow. If you like yoga, there's a girl on there that does that too…but she looks like she could be in cirque de sole….sooooo flexible it's crazy. She also has other videos on there too that are meant to be done right after these aerobic workouts. These videos are concentrated on one area of your body (glutes, arms, legs, core).

Enjoy, it's almost Friday!!

Bridezilla

My wedding is coming down to it's final 26 days and I've been pretty calm and collected throughout this entire almost 1 year process. I just want to talk about how hard it is NOT to become a bridezilla and how it's a real thing.

Anyone who knows me knows that I hate confrontation, hate stepping on people's toes, and just genuinely want everyone to love one another, be nice, and get along (like that'll ever happen). But I swear, this wedding has really caused me to get a tad feisty which kind of scares me a little bit.

Before going through this process I thought i'd never be one of "those brides" that gets on everyone's nerves and seems so selfish ...and I don't think I have been (maybe a few times). But certain things come up that just bring out out the claws. I battle with myself and think "oh that's not a big deal," one minute, and then the next minute i'm like, "awww hellll naww!!!"

I don't think people understand how much effort goes into a wedding. Brides don't just have to pick a pretty white dress and walk down an aisle. We're talking invitations, table settings, decorations, flowers, dance lessons, getting skinny, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, alterations, getting your groom to actually participate...the list is endless. And I am FREAKING OUT! Don't get me wrong, my wedding is going to be beautiful and everything I dreamed it would be, but I encourage everyone to elope, do it in a pretty backyard, and even the chapels in the Vegas hotels are beautiful too.

A little tip to you newly engaged couples, or girls who know that the question is coming soon...start working on your guest list and addresses now. Trust me.

Oh, and try to get married 6-9 months after you get engaged...the more time you have the more money you spend, and the more time you have to change your mind a million times.

With all that said, i'd like to add that I have an amazing wedding planner and mother who have done the majority of the work and probably should be way more stressed than I am.

I'd also like to add that besides being on the verge of the next bridezilla, i'm very excited to marry my best friend and can't wait to be on a beach in 27 days.

I feel better,

Kylie
