Body Rock
I have been trying to find a workout that is easy to do anywhere but still very hard at the same time. Of course, I found this on Pinterest because it's awesome and has everything you'll ever need.
The website is called BodyRock.tv and the host is Lisa. Lisa is from the UK so listening to her talk is always fun, and she has one of the best bodies EVER…her boobs are big and fake though…but if I looked like her I would probably just walk around naked everywhere. Also, when you get on the site it looks kind of scandalous because they really do their best to make Lisa look sexy and desirable. But, she is very nice and doesn't act all "hey i'm awesome" like the annoying P90X guy.
Every one of the workouts she demonstrates is 4 different exercises, 3 times through, (total of 12 rounds) with 50 seconds on and 10 seconds rest for every round (total of 12 minutes). So the workouts are very short, to the point, but I'm dying by the end. I think if you did any exercise for 50 seconds with only 10 seconds of rest in between you would be tired no matter what, but her exercises aren't basic. You are going from arms, to legs, to abs all in one round, not just doing one basic move. It's very aerobic with constant movement of the whole body for the most part (lots of burpees).
Here is the workout i'll be doing today

And this is what I did yesterday
I hope you try it! Trust me when I say that you'll be very tired. She has TONS of other videos on the website and also has 30 day challenges you can follow. If you like yoga, there's a girl on there that does that too…but she looks like she could be in cirque de sole….sooooo flexible it's crazy. She also has other videos on there too that are meant to be done right after these aerobic workouts. These videos are concentrated on one area of your body (glutes, arms, legs, core).
Enjoy, it's almost Friday!!

Bridezilla
My wedding is coming down to it's final 26 days and I've been pretty calm and collected throughout this entire almost 1 year process. I just want to talk about how hard it is NOT to become a bridezilla and how it's a real thing.
Anyone who knows me knows that I hate confrontation, hate stepping on people's toes, and just genuinely want everyone to love one another, be nice, and get along (like that'll ever happen). But I swear, this wedding has really caused me to get a tad feisty which kind of scares me a little bit.
Before going through this process I thought i'd never be one of "those brides" that gets on everyone's nerves and seems so selfish ...and I don't think I have been (maybe a few times). But certain things come up that just bring out out the claws. I battle with myself and think "oh that's not a big deal," one minute, and then the next minute i'm like, "awww hellll naww!!!"
I don't think people understand how much effort goes into a wedding. Brides don't just have to pick a pretty white dress and walk down an aisle. We're talking invitations, table settings, decorations, flowers, dance lessons, getting skinny, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, alterations, getting your groom to actually participate...the list is endless. And I am FREAKING OUT! Don't get me wrong, my wedding is going to be beautiful and everything I dreamed it would be, but I encourage everyone to elope, do it in a pretty backyard, and even the chapels in the Vegas hotels are beautiful too.
A little tip to you newly engaged couples, or girls who know that the question is coming soon...start working on your guest list and addresses now. Trust me.
Oh, and try to get married 6-9 months after you get engaged...the more time you have the more money you spend, and the more time you have to change your mind a million times.
With all that said, i'd like to add that I have an amazing wedding planner and mother who have done the majority of the work and probably should be way more stressed than I am.
I'd also like to add that besides being on the verge of the next bridezilla, i'm very excited to marry my best friend and can't wait to be on a beach in 27 days.
I feel better,
Kylie

The Most Traumatic Experience EVER
So I just had the most traumatic experience of my life because of our stupid animals…goes a little something like this.
Once upon a time, my Freshman year in college, my parents decided to replace me with a Westie named, Boomer. Appropriate right?
This is Boomer as a little tyke. Couldn't you just gobble him up?!? Yeah, well my lab, Brewski, literally almost just did. You see, Westie dogs are said to be "alpha" dogs. Which means that they run the household and think that they are the toughest pups ever made, when in all reality they are short, fat, and have stubby little legs.
So Boomer is a huge bully to our other dogs and is known for "attacking" them. He's sliced open plenty of ears in his lifetime, so both of our schnauzers ears don't flop right. He even bit Kyndal two days before Christmas my Sophomore year. That was fun.
2 summers ago my dad surprised us and came home with the now love of my life, Brewski. Boomer bit him too…see his cheek? Hadn't even had him 2 days and he has a huge swollen face. We're all convinced that this traumatized Brewski for good and he's not like any other lab….he's VERY mean to other dogs…especially boy dogs. Taking him running around the block and passing other dogs has almost dislocated my shoulder a couple of times from him charging towards them and growling (he has the meanest/scariest growl I've ever heard).
Brewski isn't a small or medium size lab either. He's HUGE!!! He was the runt of the litter and now easily surpasses his parents, brothers, and sisters. Don't get me wrong, I think he's the funniest, and best dog ever, he just has this one huge flaw of being bipolar and attacking dogs at any given moment. The irony of all of this is that he's scared of EVERYTHING that doesn't have four legs and barks. Shadows, vacuums, and paper bags scare him!
This is Brewski being a wimp…
Don't worry, Boomer didn't die…but he has two really big open wounds though and his blood/poop is everywhere. Brewski?…oh he's fine…running around the back yard with his muzzle on acting like he didn't almost just commit doggie murder. He's so cute though I just can't be mad at him. My mom is scraped up from being body slammed by my dad and 007ing.
Oh yea, we've been keeping our bird, Buddy, out on the back porch the past couple of days so he's not cooped up in the house…somehow his door opened and he flew away. Just a great day!
Does this mean I can eat Taco Villa since I just went through serious emotional trauma?

Here's another picture from last summer.

Today I came home from work, the dogs were playing outside and having a grand ole' time and then Boomer (being a stupid alpha dog) decides to go up to Brewski and attack him…Brewski obviously is 10 times bigger and FREAKS OUT! He grabs Boomer by the throat and starts shaking him. Me and my mom run over to try and grab him, but he won't let go. Boomer is squealing and pooping everywhere because Brewski literally scared the you know what out of him…I would probably poop too. So my dad runs out and picks up Brewski and he still won't let go…so he body slams him (my mom is hanging on to Boomer and gets body slammed too, and then does a 007 roll out of it…I was impressed) and Brewski still won't let go. I try to reach for Brewskis manhood because Kaleb said that it would guarantee his mouth to open, but I realize that we had his manhood deflated a month ago…so plan B fails. Kyndal is crying, i'm crying, dad is screaming, Boomer is screaming, and Brewski is set out to kill. My dad finally chokes Brewski until he can't breath and finally lets Boomer go.

Memorial Day Weekend
It's been a couple days since my last blog post…I'm already running out of things to talk about!!! So on Friday I drove to Amarillo for one of my very best friend's bridal shower. It was so nice to be able to see her and some of my other Amarillo friends. I had to come back the next day, but the drive wasn't too bad. I had a great Memorial Day weekend.
I decided that I wanted to make her a gift that I saw in this really cute store in Odessa, and it turned out pretty good! This isn't the exact one I made for her, but it was almost identical.
P.S. if anyone would like me to make them one of these or a full chalkboard/magnet board just message me and i'll let you know the prices!
I hope you all have a great week.
God Bless,
Ky

Harry Potter Nerd
Okay so I'd like to set the record straight with my love of Harry Potter. Everybody always gives me a hard time because I love the movies so much, but in all reality, it's usually always the only thing on at&t uverse! 90% of the time when I "watch" a movie, I'm not even watching it. I always play movies that I've seen a million times and do another task just so I can have noise. I like listening to movies that I know what's going on without having to watch. Also, if you don't like Harry Potter and you like Twilight then you're just crazy. At least Harry Potter movies have a good vs. evil plot. Twilight is all about Bella having to choose between two boys…it's a chick flick. I'd also like to say that I don't think any boy character in Harry Potter is cute…Emma Watson is pretty though. One more thing, Harry Potter came out when I was a little kid, so I was attracted to it then. My age group has grown up with these movies and it's safe to say we probably wouldn't like them if they just now started coming out. I'd also like to just throw it out there that I could make a lot of money if I went on a Harry Potter game show…I would dominate. Ask me anything.
In case you were wondering (you probably weren't) the fifth movie is my favorite. But anything after the 2nd just gets better and better.
Fun Fact: I remember reading the 4th book in 6th grade.
Sad Fact: Kaleb won't watch any Harry Potter movies with me.

My workouts for the past two days have me walking funny. But I guess that means it's working! So if you want to hate your life but feel like you could eat a huge piece of cheesecake afterwards then this is the workout for you!
After I was done and couldn't feel my legs I decided to do an arm workout! This wasn't like an "OMG I'M GONNA DIE" arm workout, but it definitely burned and the lifts weren't complicated.
Yesterday I decided to do an easier cardio workout so I could do a hard leg workout. So I just got on the elliptical for 30 minutes and watched reruns of Grey's Anatomy :) It always makes the time go by faster. After I was done with that I did one of the hardest leg workouts I've ever done, just because it was so many reps! And yes, you read it right, 100 reps of squats with 80lbs….ow.
-Instead of exercise ball squats I did bosu ball squats.
-I got all of these workouts from PBfingers.com. It's a really great website with a lot of different workouts to choose from :)
Y'all have a blessed day!

My 15 Year Old Twin
So I have a little sister who just recently turned 15 in March. My first year in college she was in the 6th grade and is now finishing up her 9th grade year. Time really flies, and I moved away for the most crucial maturing period in a teenage girls life. Every Christmas and summer that I would come back home and see her she would always look so much older. Here are some of her life stages...
Okay so do you see where I'm going with this whole, "I have a 15 year old twin" thing? Prime example, we're all at a family gathering and my fiance (Kaleb), and Kyndal are sitting next to each other. One of our family friends comes up and congratulates them on THEIR engagement….yeah. Another example, we're out at dinner and our waiter asks us if we're twins…no dude, she's 15, i'm 21…go get me a refill.
I'd also like to clear up what I said yesterday about my mom. Even though she doesn't cook, she can definitely make a mean grilled cheese! And we probably have the cleanest/ best looking kitchen thanks to her :) She's the best mommy in this entire world.
Here is a picture of us in Vegas on my 21st birthday!

First Post
Well here is my first blog post. I didn't think creating one of these things would be so difficult with this new google+ thing and all…almost gave up. BUT I DIDN'T! My main concern these days with my wedding coming up is my dieting process. It's been really hard for me not only because I have ZERO will power, but my family has never been the type to eat healthy. Growing up, the cook in my family was always my dad because my mom never liked to dirty up the kitchen. Even then, a home cooked meal was a rare treat, just like eating out is for a lot of families. The most my mom ever does in the kitchen is clean the counter tops (God love her). So what i'm trying to say is that we ALWAYS eat fast food! THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM PEOPLE! So I just recently ordered Nutrisystem, and I really like it for the most part, but when my dad walks in the door saying, "Hey, picked up some food on the way home, got you something," i'm not going to say no…i'm a Texan American for crying out loud. Why would I want to eat my 100 calorie dinner instead of a delicious burrito from Taco Villa, I mean come on, you wouldn't either. To compensate for my weak food moments, I work out a lot! I'm pretty much maintaining my weight even though I wish I would lose, but once June hits i'm telling everyone who offers me food that they are mean. I can't be a fat bride, and even though i'm not "fat" to what society thinks is "fat", everyone has their own image of fat and skinny to what their body type is. For example, for those of you who know me, my mother is a hottie. She was a twirler at Texas Tech, weighs 110 pounds, and is 5'6". We wore the same size shoe when I was in the 4th grade, and even then I couldn't fit into her wedding dress. Yea…kinda sucks when your mom wears a size 0 compared to my size 10. But my point is, her fat is like my skinny. So now that I've told you all how fat I am I guess I'll save the rest of my sob-story for next time.
God Bless,
Kylie Rae
